General Information

The Tiger Town Observer was founded in 1992 to act as the premier forum for libertarian and conservative students at Clemson to express their opinions, get politically involved, and fight liberal ideology at all levels of government. Since then, we have grown into a conservative political powerhouse on Clemson's campus.

We are committed to spreading truth, defending freedom, and going where no other organization at Clemson has gone before. Responsible for bringing anti-abortion groups to campus, publishing the controversial Muhammad cartoons, and taking a stand on the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment; the Tiger Town Observer respects the great legacy of America's history and the sacrifices that were made to endow it with such liberty.

We believe in the overwhelming power of the free market, liberty's dependence on limited government, and the fundamental principle that citizens can manage both their rights and responsibilities independent of any government authority.
